General Information & Things To Do
Bunker Hills Regional Park is a 1,600 acre park in Anoka County Minnesota. There are a numerous paved and natural trails that are great for walking, running, or biking. A floating walkway passes through a small wetland area where a number of birds can be spotted, including ducks, cranes and large numbers of red-winged blackbirds which nest in the wetlands.
In addition to the trails, the park has a Frisbee-golf course, campground, horseback riding, golf course and even a water park. The park also offers a number of pavilions and picnic tables.
Parking
There is plenty of parking within the park itself. There may be $5 per car fee to enter the park. If you live in the region, and anticipate visiting Bunker Hills or any of the other regional parks more than once, the annual pass ($25) is a good choice. There are multiple entrances to the park: two off of Bunker Lake Blvd NW, and another off of Main Street (Hwy 14).
